Conducted comprehensive drinking water sampling for public schools in Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties, adhering to COMAR 26.16.07 for lead in drinking water testing. Ensured full compliance with MDE protocols by coordinating closely with school administrators, collecting over 2,000 first-draw and flush samples from designated fixtures, and maintaining an unbroken chain of custody throughout the process. Deployed a robust water source inventory management application using Microsoft Power Apps which captured photographs of devices, sampler notes, and field verification against existing inventory.
Developed Microsoft Power BI dashboard to provide stakeholders with real-time access to results and metrics, enhancing data transparency and decision-making. Site conditions were thoroughly documented to support data integrity, and all activities adhered to stringent regulatory standards for lead and other contaminants. AFS played a critical role in facilitating clear communication of test results to stakeholders, ensuring actionable outcomes while safeguarding public health and safety.
